The officially recognised climate spa resort Rathen is situated below the world famous “Bastei”-view point only 40 km away from the Saxon capital of Dresden.
You will find quiet and relaxation in the middle of the national park of Saxon Switzerland.

The spa resort Rathen is due to its central location ideal for short and longer hikes, for sporting activities on the river Elbe and along the fully developed cycling trail. On guided mountain tours you can get a feeling for the living Saxon mountains or watch mountain climbers on an ascent of the summit.
